Each family decorates a dragon boat- usually made out of a cardboard box or, for the more creative - paper-mache. It will be fun to see all the creativity, as well as all the children proudly wearing their boats!
Everyone will have a chance to see these marvelous boats during the parade around the park, and then it’s off to the races! Who will cross the finish line first? Of course it really doesn’t matter because everyone will e having fun, and each child will take home a prize. Parents can also get in on the action with their own race. Their prize will be the laughter and smiles from the children that watch their parents try to make it to the other end without falling! |
